Point blank Right Click (84) > Melee (30) > Swift Strike (50) combo can deal a lot of damage in an instant as each cancels its animation into the next.
Koochie no OK Corral is slow and weak, and has a long startup and takes your Shurikens away for a measly 120 damage per swing, once per second.
Even just RMB+Melee gives you 114 damage in less than a second, repeating those two alone in rapid succession is far more effective than using Genji's sword.

Just FYI: his head is still visible from the back when jumping. It does become a smaller target, but it's no more difficult to shoot than a normal-sized character's head. Ult is useless unless enemies are distracted, only use it when there's chaos or you have some sort of survivability bonus (winston shield, lucio ult, mercy healing) while doing so and the enemies are all holding hands
Stick to enclosed areas, make use of corners, in KOTH and other maps don't rush in with the bulk, try to flank around and pick off lone stragglers
Be judicious with your shots, only shoot when you have a good bead on the target. While his burst is strong, he doesn't have that much ammo and the reload takes a fair amount of time.

Symmetra is excellent in her own little niche. Not every character needs to be viable in every situation. Also, iirc, he said that Pharah shouldn't be buffed just yet because the main issue currently is that her counters in McCree and Widowmaker are really overpowered and overused. If Pharah is weak after McCree and WM get nerfed to a reasonable level then it'll be time to look into buffs.

Everyone knows that she has just too many options, she has all the upsides and none of the downsides of a sniper. They'll probably nerf her pretty soon.
One of the worst ones is that she doesn't need headshots to be effective, since a charged bodyshot and semi-charged bodyshot immediately after can kill most characters before they can react. That's the biggest bullshit about her. That and the Ultimate having no warning.

It's only good if you absolutely positively need to gank a mercy or if you're about to enter a huge team fight.
As soon as you use it everyone is going to move away from you or instantly kill you.
It's probably the most frustrating ult to use because it also takes away your only ranged option and doesn't reset the cool down on swift strike when you activate it so you better wait for your only gap closer to be off cool down before you activate it.

This is true, most of his abilities put a skill check on the opponent rather than the player using them.
A good genji knows how to flank well and gets a feel for the rhythm of the match but as you start playing against better people that gets much harder.

That's just it, place her turrets all together and you are asking for them to all be blown up in one shot. Just spread them out in different corners of a small room so when they destroy them they have to waste the time to find them all.
I've been countering Genji with Bastion and Reaper.
Bastion just needs to bait the reflect and wait a second to kill him easy. Reaper has odd timing with shotguns and good spread.
