From what I can tell, it's got the same exploration/puzzle elements that Myst had, but also has a survival aspect because of the shooting and inventory management. I haven't played The Void, but it seems to share some ideas with this game. And yeah, it has a horror theme, but I don't think it's supposed to be a horror game. It just looks creepy because it's inspired by Beksinski and Giger, who both are known for their creepy artwork.

Really excited for Obduction too. It might have a booth at E3, wouldn't be surprised. The devs said they originally planned for a Myst-sized game, but now it's more like Riven in scale, which means it'll probably be pretty decent in length.
