What you need to do, for real, is just do filler drawings of shit you don't have an emotional need to see done right. Referenced sketches, shapes, general anatomy studies. Just whatever. Be invested in what you're doing, but not so much that failing is going to set you back.
What you're doing is what a lot of people do. You're setting goals you can't really obtain at your level and it's a fucking nightmare. Just keep those on the back burner and do some work you're mostly fine with being mediocre.
