On mobile so don't have Speccy, but here's my 2010 build I'm still using:

AMD Phenom X6 1055T
GeForce 460 GTX
4 GB RAM

Obviously I can't play anything current at an acceptable framerate. I don't really mind, though, as I've been mostly playing console stuff these days. Still use the PC for old FPS, Morrowind, New Vegas, Infinity Engine stuff, etc.

It's just air cooled. Case only has 2 (big) fans. It's not particularly cold in here. Wobbling between 19C and 21C.

Also I was playing Duelyst when I took that shot so it's not at rest.

I replace all the thermal paste in my builds with ICD though. Maybe that's the reason.

Guise, I have a big problem. I have absolutelly no fucking idea about computers, it might as well be magic happening inside my pc. My graphic card died (it was an nvidia 7300 LE), and I took the computer to the computer mechanic (I don´t know the name in english, fuck, I don´t even speak english and I´m trying my hardest here, fuck you for laughing), and he said that I can survive without the graphic card, but now my pc can´t run any game. He also upgraded my computer to 2gb RAM. What should I do? Buy a new graphic card? Pic related, my previous shitty toaster specs, but at least I could run some games before.

It's worth upgrading for the free key (while you still have time).
It's the last version so if an update comes out that boosts speed you'll end up paying when you don't have to.
Win10 is fresher, not better.

Intel has kept the pentium brand around for what are basically non-hyperthreaded i3s.

They're not nearly as bad as you likely think when you see that old brand.

Clock for clock single-threaded performance is almost identical to i3/5/7 chips of the same generation, and the g3258 was a monster of an overclocker.

I didn't use said desktop for like 2 years, but I'll probably do just that when I get home. Be kinda weird missing the boat for graphics (the 970 was from this February) and CPU's, but I'm not rebuilding for at least another couple years.

My cooling is terrible but I'm too lazy to mess with the wires or to buy a different cpu cooler. My case doesn't have much room so I'm not sure I could fit one in there anyway.
I had to remove the hard drive cage to fit my damn 980Ti, that sucked.

>>
>>340563640
Yeah, I'm ok with 1080p / 60Hz. Works fine for me so far.
>>
>>340563792
bottlenecking that gpu unless you downsample every single game. which I doubt you do on that derp tri monitor setup.
>>
>>340563764
I got that cpu on a budget way before I got the gpu. I was gifted the gpu, before I had a shitty 1gb vram. I just need to save up money again

I got back from work an hour ago. I hope you have a job faggot, shouldn't be that hard to save if so.

Yes I know. Half of my memory slots are dead for some reason. Im stuck in single until I replace the board. On a positive note, this has no impact on gaming at at all.

The only justification you need is how cheap ram is and how a person who stores articles for future consumption in their browser can easily use 16GB

I do a lot of processing and just generally like building computers from a hobbyist stand point.

More of a because I can over a because I needed to.
