There are recommended levels for all of them. Dead Money has it at level 20 and it is higher than HH and OWB recommended levels, and since you're probably going to do DM first go ahead and go at around level 20. You'll definitely be at an apt level by the time you start Lonesome Road too.
A better question would be, and what points during the narrative would it be best to start doing the DLC. I know DM is best done after meeting Veronica and Lonesome Road is great when completed just before the Battle of Hoover Dam, but what about the last two?

Honestly, I really enjoy Fallout 4 (although I do acknowledge its faults and would like some changes) but it doesn't have that Western feel that New Vegas did. Sometimes in NV I'd be out wandering the desert at night, on my way somewhere, and I'd see somewhere cozy to sit and relax. I'd just sit there and watch the night sky and desert plains, and just kind of take it all in. I dont get that sort of comfy in any other game I own, save GUN, which I've played so many times to completion that I could do it in my sleep.

Right now I'm at a lower level, using the Lever Action Shotgun, and man is this thing versatile. GRA adds so many new shells, I can use it for almost any situation. Gonna upgrade to a Hunting Shotgun soon, gotta get more 12 gauge shells first. God, shotguns are the best fucking things ever.

Shotguns are so overpowered they make the game not fun.
The AMR is perfect. It has tremendous damage per shot and every hit feels satisfying, but its slowness means you have to play right to not get fucked over at close range.
Not to mention it's fun as hell to use.

I prefer hunting shotgun. Looks better, better with attachments, you can get one much earlier and easier than doing fetch quests for that cumdumpster. Either way, New Vegas shotguns are best weapons next to infinite ammo laser uzi and unarmed.

I had 120 hours in game, but never plaeyd any of DLCs. I got them all at some point few years ago and still didnt played any, due to lack of motivation to set up everything (I had tons of mods installed and patches with DLCs probably messed everything up).

I just wanted to see how the game is as an edge lord. It's not that fun, but still enjoyable.
