A few years ago I was working as an event co-ordinator and before one event had started, a guy came up to me with his stupid horse mask in his hand.

Then he walked off making this stupid chuckle like he had just finished preparing the ultimate gag. Later in the night, some tools had started break dancing and then horse man comes running up to me.

He almost looks scared by how all the attention is on the break dancers instead of him. So I get him his shitty mask, he struts out to the dance floor, deliberately spilling his drink and then he gets a few chuckles from the crowd. But that's not enough, so I forces his way onto the break dancing mat and does his rubbish routine which got him exactly what he wanted: people took photos. Then, and this is the part which caused the most cringe, someone in the crowd said "who's that with the mask?" and he ripped it off immediately because he needed everyone to know who the party animal under the mask was.
So, if you're going outside and spotting horse masks, then you're either a massive tool or you're the sad sap who actually wastes money on them.
