tfw still on old 100Mbit connection for over 10 years, 1Gbit cost is high as fuck in this area but people on the other side of the city can get 1Gbit for like 20 bucks or less.

I know. The provider that's just outside my area has 155 Mbps for the exact same price as the 25 one. The company that sells the shitty one has a hold on the area and can get away with it. They literally don't even give me that though, I tend to hover around 3Mbps daily.

This is pretty much the same shit I've got currently. Download speeds on steam are never quicker than 5mb/sec though.
I don't care much though cause I can pirate as much as I like and not get letters asking me to stop.
Time Warners pretty OK on that front, however they were just bought out by another company called Spectrum, so I can't help but think that things are gonna get worse.

This is what a $210/mo Comcast triple play plan gets me. Mind you I don't give a shit about TV or landline and would be happy to get rid of them but it matters to the rest of my family so whatever. We don't even get any premium channels or anything for this. It's literally just shit internet speeds plus basic cable. For over $200 a month.
