Get the wood ring, the rolls work pretty good.
Or the crown of dusk and that one dragon ring that increses magic. Unless you are doing a weapon primarily run. Then you are fucked.

Wood ring will help, but I attacked the cat for a laugh. Thing is my best weapons are the lightning spear you can find in anal rodeo and a enchanted falcon in seth's wankchives.
The net says to upgrade halberd or a long weapon to 15+.

Don't get shield, learn how to roll away and most importantly when he backs away 2 times and tries to buff himself just run straight to him and beat the shit out of him to interrupt it. He is easy when not buffed or buffed 1 times. So just learn how to evade hus initials attack and two hand your weapon. I'm not that good at souls games but I managed to do it like this.

Have you done Ariamis? Farming souls takes no more than 10 minutes for a +15 upgrade.
If you have Dex run you can go for Great Scythe or Uchigatana +15 those a fucking god like on Dex runs.
You could also try using Pyromancy, if you have high Dex it should be easier to land than Magic spells.As long as you hvae the good pyromancies, of course.

It took me forever but i finally beat him earlier today after around 18+ hours of trying.
I had to constantly use green blossom and strong magic shield to keep my health and stamina up.
keep your shield up at all times and tank his hits until he does a thrust, circle him as he makes contact and hit him once, repeat until he powers up. when he is powering up you have a short window to hit him to stop him buffing. 3 melee hits are required to stop him from buffing, if you aren't close enough to him, don't bother attacking and use the time to heal/buff yourself.
Alternatively, if you have throwing knives, 2 knives are enough to stop him powering up and obviously can be used from a further distance at the trade off of dealing less damage.

I believe it, I actually think speed wise he is on par/slightly slower( in terms of how acts post attacks) than a BB boss.
Problem with him there are no ways to initiate a "visceral attack"/Riposte agaisnt him. Which makes him extremely tough.

I think he killed me most of all bosses.
The trick is to kill the dogs first. How to do that is an exercise in fucking insanity. I tend to see if i can try and dodge them up the stairs, then kill them as they run up.
Once they are dead the demon itself is almost laughably easy.

The lightning club is your friend anon. To beat the game at lv1 you can run through pretty much everything and summon npcs to fight the bosses that aren't easily cheesed.

>You can run through all of it and only have to fight 2 or 3 sneks
>Tarkus will kill Golem solo
>lrn2 parry silver knights (other actual hard part)
>O/S with solaire is rough but doable
>Sword and board through to Seathe, who is super cheeseable
>Get divine weapn
>Sprint through catacombs and kill nito by running away and poking him once x100
>Sprint through lava house, Fire demon easymode, summon solaire of centipede and eat ass through BoC
>put on havels and heal through 4kings (just heal everytime you get hit, with 20 flasks its super doable)
And thats the whole game minus DLC which is actually really hard SL1

Stay far enough away that he only ever tries the tail swipe, jump smash and charge. Theres no reason to get close since his chest takes the least amount of damage.
