And this is why I don't play anymore.
Mafia, Werewolf, and other clones are pointless if they aren't in person or over webcam. Half the game is reading body language and tone. You can't really read a person through text alone, so games just turn into coinflips.

I remember the golden age of Epic Mafia with multiple full games all the time. A few months ago we struggled to get anything over 8 going consistently and it was always the same faggots.

I disagree, you tend to see a common theme of how people talk and what they say depending on what role they are. Probably helps if you study Psychology.
