I already have menuhax and RxTools all set up (9.2 sysNAND and 11.0 EmuNAND) and am currently enjoying the games like this but A9LH seems very tempting, is it that much worth switching over? And how much do I skip of the guide with my current setup to get there? Some people say it's worth it but that risk of bricking, even if I never had any problems is what's holding me back.

rxtools is grossly outdated, but if its good enough for you then dont feel obligated to switch over. that being said here are just some of the things that make a9lh so superior.

You can probably get it working then. I'd recommend using only a 2gb micro sd in it and wiping it entirely and then using the latest woodr4 firmware, and then launching it with the r4 for rev .cia in that thread's op and it might work then. You'll need to be on Luma or have otherwise patched TWL_FIRM though.

Updating your CFW is as easy as downloading the newest version from github and copy+replacing the files in the download folder to your sd.
If you want online then just update in system settings.
If you're in emunand even if you fuck up somehow you can always restore from a backup.

There's an inject where you can put any 3DS game you want on the system and they all run perfectly but that requires a CFW 3DS
