I'd go with jap VAs, personally. Zero is a completely different character in the original version. Its honestly amazing how much delivery of what are pretty clearly the same lines (or at least very similar ones) can completely change your perception of a character.
The downside is that there's a lot of unsubtitled speech from the mooks but eh, its not THAT important. With one major exception its just them screaming in terror.
There's a lot of walking in this game, so you can save a lot of time by chaining dash/attack cancels together. IIRC you can only do that with some weapons, but when you find one that works, alternate between R1 and triangle to your heart's content

Depends on how bad the english voice work is. I don't mind listening to non-english voices in a fantasy game, especially if its exotic, adds to the atmosphere of being in another world.
