I want to replay 999 and VLR but with the exams coming I don't think I'll can. Refresh my memory with your favourite moments. For example, one of my prefered moments is when Santa tells the story of the two Santa Claus, dat foreshadowing

You have to play the other 2. Emulate 999 on your pc. Then buy VLR for 3ds/vita. If not then at least watch a playthrough on YouTube.

Not necessary but you miss out on a lot of callbacks and emotional impact. VLR directly leads into ZTD though, so you might be lost without having played at least VLR
