How performance heavy is Nevada Skies? Thinking of removing it and just getting Realistic Wasteland Lighting. I usually average around 45fps with a few texture packs and no ENB

It broke the questline involving the medics in Freeside (their name escapes me) for me. None of the fixes work, and it destroyed my performance. It's fantastic when it works, but the hit to performance is just too damn much. I was averaging 18fps after turning off some of the more intensive options of the mod. Ridiculous.

Loads up the worldspace of both the base game, DLC and any mods you use, and creates higher-quality LOD for all of them.
In practice, rocks, trees and buildings are loaded MUCH further into the distance and retain their quality further. As I said above, it doesn't really affect performance at all. The only reason it wasn't this way to begin with is console memory limitations.

I've got a maxed 9mm SMG and Vance's SMG. Both are at max condition and the 9mm (with drum mags and light bolt) is stated by the game itself as having higher DPS. Your wiki isn't counting for the upgrades, it seems.

Bean bags let you have the "And Stay Back" in the form of an ammunition that knocks enemies down. It lets you take on a deathclaw at low level, provided you got enough ammo to keep it on the ground while you use other weapons to damage it.

AWOP is meh, it adds a shitload of new locations, but completely breaks game balance, giving you a metric ton of gear very early in the game. It also causes serious save bloat because all its locations have a shitload of clutter. Good for a playthrough but I wouldn't use it all the time.

My DPS is in the 300 range. Every stated damage in the wiki seems to be off by 100. Probably because it doesn't take into account you Gun skill level (I'm at 100).

And you can't kill a deathclaw with a just a riot shotgun and no perks/stimpacks because the shotty only becomes effective at close range. When a deathclaw gets that close, you're dead without "And Stay Back" or bean bags.

Get just these 2-4 mods
First, get the Script extender
Project New Vegas
Adds a shitton of new featuers like sprint and quick throw button that also adds a few cut/new weapons to the game
Then get more Perks/Traits mod (MPM)
Then get weapons of the new millenia mod (45 weapons+attachments)
Then get nevada skies and maybe the populated casinos/removing the barriers from the strip and freeside

I used modded all the weapons to be more realistic. All the pistols do around 30 damage, rifles do between 65-75. I got tired of bulletsponge enemies and my own character taking bullets like nothing. Now firefights with anyone from legion assassins to powder gangers are extremely deadly. I boosted the accuracy of semi autos and automatics to realistic levels. They were previously set to the same accuracy as pistols for balance reasons. I also put in a 65 pound carry weight.
And of course, all mods that add more guns that I could find are in my NV.

The Courier is a cross between Patrick Sherill and Gordon Krantz from the novel "The Postman"

I have multiple play through, owned the game for years. My play through usually go guns, energy weapons, melee only, kill all ncr, kill all legion etc. I know a few more names like Mr. House, Cesar, Yes Man but nothing they say really comes to mind. The game has a fun setting and plenty to shoot and I like the idea of Karma.
The time I was locked upstairs in the prison while working for the powder gang during the raid, and then came down stairs after it was said and done to about 20 corpses stacked in the medical area was a thing of beauty.
