Well thats just your opinion, and its the minority one considering more people purchased D3 than any other iso ARPG.
People want responsive controls, Grim Dawn doesnt provide that, so it isnt as popular. Its not the only thing thats important but its important enough to put a dent in the appeal of games like Grim dawn

What's the best combo for a gunslinger setup? I went demo/nightblade but focused too much on the former and too little on the latter.
Really solid game now that it's out. It's a highly refined Titan Quest, with a more familiar theme for D2 vets.

D3 does have good combat but that's it really. D3 dosnt have the customization GD has. With GD, I can spend skill points, either get new stuff, try to dual class or power up skills that I like. D3 dosnt give me that.
Having access to all skills at all times with absolutely no reason to make another of the same class really kills it for me.
D3 is not a bad game by no means these days, but it dosnt scratch that character building itch.
