Look at this, look how they twist and turn the English language and its pronounciation in an attempt to fit it in with the lipsync and framelength which was done for Japanese voice acting.
Unnatural pauses, uhms and ahs where there shouldn't be any, words being pronounced in funny ways to either elongate or shorten them, weird sentence constructions you would never encounter in real life, all so that they can make it fit.
It is like making a jigsaw puzzle, and instead of finding the right piece for the right place, you just take a wrong piece, paint it, cut it, grind it hammer it into place and hope nobody notices the difference.

Am I the only one not bothered by honorifics in dubs? If they're going to not include the Japanese VA for whatever reason (I'm guessing it involves paying more money to already pricey seiyuu being more expensive than hiring literal who Eng VAs) then the addition of the honorific in the dub maintains some of the nuance of the original script. Different honorific usage is indicative of character feelings toward one another or help establish tone in a scene.
I think as a linguistic element, honorifics are generally a pretty good idea for that reason. I would MUCH rather they use honorifics, despite sounding weird in English, than try to localize them by doing shit like translating -chan or -kun as a nickname or by adding -y/ie to the end of a characters' name, or full retard shit like translating -sama as madame/monsieur.

It's usually a licensing issue. With japanese voice actors, unless you have the contract written to include allowing the voices to appear outside japan, you have to renegotiate it again with every voice actor's agent, or some shit.

Video games aren't like anime in that sense, because usually companies don't licesne out to other companies for localizations but it can happen.
For instance, FFXV has basically an all star cast in Japan and English, but they were hired by Square Enix, and Square Enix has the rights to those audio recordings not the agent or VA.
This is simply a case of either Atlus JP being fucking retarded, or Atlus NA choosing not to have dual audio.
If you can't speak Japanese there's literally no reason why you would want Japanese audio. If you really cared so much about it you would've learned Japanese already.

I did. I didn't watch much because I forgot how awkward English dubs are at times, but it didn't seem that bad. The only bit that seemed off was Sazh at 1:25ish. But, I didn't go much further than that.
If you want a bad dub in terms of timing and shit, look at Sonic Adventure 2. Because they couldn't resync the cutscene lip-flaps, they had to fit everything within the Japanese timings. This whole clip (https://youtu.be/hwfSwjQjctM?t=3m59s) has some awkward moments, and it's obvious near the end (where Sonic cuts off Shadow - that was due to the Japanese line of Shadow being shorter than the English line). They made it work, the VA's aren't too bad, but they had to do the same thing you said - they had to lengthen some lines, shorten others, or just cut some of them off.
