Think about it. Kirby is extremely basic, has less movesets, enemies die in single hits, boss are trivial, level design is a whole lot of nothing with basic point a to point b gameplay. No challenge to platforming due to flying either.
I would go as far to say Senran games last longer with customization and more content, as well as having actual story arcs. Seriously, what is well designed in a recent Kirby game that presents a step up from a Senran game?

The Atelier Games are actually good games and not just waifubait. I'd recommend you start with Totori then go Meruru and Rorona plus. Technically Rorona Plus is the first one but its also the one that came out last and thus going from Rorona to Totori might be a bit of a gameplay jump. The story in Rorona doesn't really affect Totori either.

Disclaimer: I value comfy > screen, and Sony makes top notch LCD displays anyway. The "downgrade" from OLED won't be a problem for me (plus no risk of burn in / degradation)
