PC and PS4 go off with their new games, while Vita goes back in her room which is in disarray, and goes to write a suicide note with tears in her eyes.

I'm so happy to finally have this done, I finished this yesterday morning after suddenly finding myself in a really good writing mood, and it felt so damn good to finish this. I think waiting until I was finally in that just-right mood for writing really paid off, because I think the ending came out wonderfully as a result. Also, I'm kinda bad with thinking of good titles, it changed three times before I decided on what's now set in stone.

I have an actual Toasty, and I love the concept of it is neat. My PC is fairly weak, with 2gb being the bottleneck. I have no plans to upgrade him, since I'm a poorfag. I rely on old emulation and cheap steam deals to play stuff, with rarely getting 30 fps and a small resolution. I'm glad Toasty himself is fairly popular, and despite being unable to run newer games, I love mine to death.

Anyway,since "we" (game enthusiasts) don't have a very good collective memory about "our" past, has anyone ever thought about doing a sort of webcomic about the history of consoles from the very first one, following the main facts throughout the decades in a sort of DidYouKnowGaming way? I think this might actually be a good way to use some older or less popular tans; give a sort of canon status to some that don't have a uniformed design (looking at you PSP); strengthen this nice comfy community and finally it might be a good way to shit something good for once again out of this website.

The subject of console-tan families is murky, and for obvious reasons. I like to imagine that the older-in-appearance tans are the older siblings/parents/etc, regardless of if the actual consoles are younger than other tans. Example: Wii-U is the mother-figure of the Nintendo family, despite the 3DS, SNES, etc. all being older than the Wii-U.
