the ds2 version was the artist's original vision. the ds1 devs ran short on time and, rather than finishing the turban model, slapped the texture onto an piece of blighttown's parasitic wallhugger model and used that, that's why it looks like ass. the only reason people shit on the ds2 turban is because it's different than ds1. meanwhile ds2 is "derivative" and "uninspired" any time it does something just the way ds1 did it. fucking hypocrites.
