Anyone else not liking the new enemy AI this game has? I mean it's NOTICEABLY harder than demon's/dark souls. Which I thought would be a good thing since it got too easy to take down enemies in dark souls 1 but I'm starting to DREAD fighting most enemies in this game because it takes so long.. I've just started this game and I've already ran through two areas because I didn't want to deal with any enemies
I'm hoping to find some overpowered sword sooner or later or I'm gonna have a bad time.

The way to pic related is frustrating. Strong enemies everywhere and on top of that you get Toxic'd
>>340252583
Hard? Just ignore the AI but stunlocking the enemies to death before they hit you- like every other game in this casual ass series for wanna be weeb badasses
You must have skipped Dark Souls 2. You would be praising 3's AI otherwise.

I played dark souls 2. I remember it felt like the enemies swords had magnets on the tip. same thing with this game.

No. DaS2 made it practically impossible to get behind an enemy, but it's perfectly doable in 3.

Same thing with every game.
People really need to stop singling out one game in the series, like DS2, for issues that are present in literally every one. Yes, even including Blood"best game of all time because it's the only game for its console"borne.
It's okay to criticize DS2 for soul memory and the like but got damn don't be a hypocrite.

I think everyone is aware of the enemy tracking in these games but it was at it's absolute worst in Dark Souls II.

git gud
>>340253983
DaS2 literally had enemies spinning on their own axis towards the player, to prevent backstabs.

Maybe only those fire breathing lizards, other enemies like peasants/knights and shit actually stop after some patterns and THEN turn around if you're not quick enough to do a backstab
