Actually, I prefer thise classes because they are typically fast. I like to be up close and not at a range like a little faggot, but I also hate slow, clunky classes. A lot of games have classes you would think would fit this without being a rouge-type class, but usually take the easy way and nake it a slow, heavy sword class or something similar.

The only things debatable about what I said is the conversation stuff. Rogues in general are known for disarming traps, knocking out enemies, and backstabbing.
And there is no playing like a bitch when you're a rogue, achieving your goal is the main thing that matters.

Being a trap monkey is a task better suited to a rogue, in the early levels are you really going to waste spell slots on something another character can passively do? and the doing it from behind is also much better suited to the thief who can get fairly large backstab modifiers, it just doesn't make as much sense with a mage.

Frankly I have not played enough characters yet to have a class tendency. I have played the same character in one group over the past seven years though.
The only tendency I can see up till now is that nearly all my characters always were very perceptive and investigative characters with high awareness/perception stats.
