It's not even a sequel that game doesn't even deserve a sequel.
It's a straight up successor and it will not be called Prey
Just want to remind everyone Bethesda basically ground Human Head down while they were working on prey 2 in an effort to make them a cheaper buyout. When Human Head refused, they cancelled the project and let Human Head burn.
I'm kinda confused. The only Prey I know is a game about native American in space playing with gravity and the game from the movie has no native American nor fun with gravity...

The Native American guy was going to play a big part in the story. No more Soul Bow unfortunately though. As for Gravity, they were instead going for parkour in a futuristic metropolis, jumping on moving hover trains and the like.
