Have you ever played an arena shooter? The hitbox always compensates for server delay. See competitive TF2 games from sniper's perspective, they never hit the actual head.

This has nothing to do with server delay / 20 tick rate. For non hitscan weapons some of the characters have a headshot hitbox almost 4x there head. You can aim way off to the side and still get a headshot.

He shows someone going into cover where the player cannot see any part of their model and demonstrates with Hanzo you can still get a headshot on them.

TF2 seems around 20% to 30% bigger where OW seems around 50 to 70% bigger

TF2 has some of the worst fucking hitboxes of any FPS.

You can get the Scout's hitbox to completely remove itself from his model.

They fixed it. But there's still the issue of landing auto crouching your model, despite your camera not being crouched. Most obv. examples. Jumping on xbox on dust2 means you'll see them first while they cant see your head for a second.
