I completed Hyrule Fantasy for the first time recently, and been replaying
Wind Waker (through hd) and Skyward Sword. All a geniunely good games
and hyrule fantasy was really a great experience. Very difficult compared to later
games, maybe a bit too hard. The sense of adventure was sweet. Skyward Sword
is very creative, but when you compare it to Wind Waker, you realize it's
not that it takes too long to start (Dragon Roost is far away from Outset
Island) but that all dialogue takes too long and all interactions generally
drag on a little too much. Wind Waker is snappy in comparison. Hyrule Fantasy
has greatness in that there is zero narrative exposition: You just play, but
Wind Waker finds a nice balance: The dialogue is nice, it's speedy and
you quickly get controls back.

Can Zelda U return to this? Are they perhaps going to go all out nes and
dial back on narrative completely? Or can they never learn, and are gonna
piss off /v/ again?

>Hyrule Fantasy
Just call it TLoZ or Zelda 1, you colossal weeb.
>>
Not even the fucking Japanese call it "the Hyrule Fantasy".

Seems like a nice distinction to me. Plus, industry-trend in mind, there might be two LoZ soon.

I'm going to have to second what this guy said.

Zelda 1
Zelda Whatever (you know it's going to have a subtitle)
>>
>>340174935
It's a bad distinction because literally nobody outside of the absurdly hardcore fans have any idea what the fuck you're referring to when you call it that.
>>

I'm an absurdly hardcore fan and I've never heard it called that. It sounds like a shitty fangame.

I've never seen it called that anywhere outside its wikipedia page.

My mom is BR and my dad Yuropian. How can I be inbred?

You do have proof, right?
