I always struggle with filling the ninth slot, and I had a fucking blast with Overwatch during the beta (which was about a month ago), so it's there.
It might be out in another month, but I usually change my 3x3 on a regular basis anyway, so I don't really care.

I don't lurk enough to know all of /v/'s most beloved game, but I'm pretty sure skyrim is not that well liked and many will think ff7 is overated, hell I even expected to be called a fag for liking first gen of pokemon so much, honestly saying that I posted all the most beloved games kinda surprised me, I just loved those games, plus it's hard to pick only 9, so many more I could have put but I settled with what you saw.

Blood and Wine was really amazing. Hearts of Stone beats it in storytelling, but the scale and quality of Blood and Wine makes me think it's much better than Hearts of Stone. The Land of a Thousand Fables is easily the best part of Blood and Wine.
Speaking of different maps though, CDPR has managed to shove 5 different kinds of maps in one game, give them each a unique atmosphere, and make it work wonderfully which I think shows a lot of talent.

lunar (the ps1) version is my fave version with sega cd next and psp last. it's my favorite game ever. it's not technically innovative but the sega cd version was the first rpg I beat without any help as a kid. it means a lot to me.
