What is the comfiest game you have ever played?

Looking for something uber comfy on steam atm
>>
Final Fantasy IX
Bravely Default
Persona 4
The Longest Journey
Mirror's Edge
Okami
Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick
>>
>>340143974
Witcher 3 probably.

Elder Scrolls games are comfy too.
>>
>>340143974
Witcher 1
>>
Honestly Skyrim to be honest.
>>
Risen, just the first one though.

>>340144513
Heavily modded skyrim I guess, but none of the dungeons are really comfy, and climbing mountains is a nightmare
>>
>>340144362
>Final Fantasy IX
But aren't the battles long as fuck because of all the camera angles it goes through? Also fucking ugly on PC since they didn't uprez anything.

Please prove me wrong.
>>
>>340144446
Witcher 3 is comfy af, although I have played blood and wine but I hear it's beyond comfy if your PC isn't a toaster
>>
>>340144814
No. It's just manchildren with ADHD who complain about that.
Dunno about the PC version.

Morrowind without a shadow of a doubt.

>incredible atmosphere
>fantastic music
>you walk so FUCKING SLOWLY that you're forced to take in your surroundings
>>
Dues EX; HR

Can't really get a game comfier in my opinion
>>
>>340144925
>Forced to take in your surroundings
What, cold, dead, intimidating surroundings?

If you want an RPG, play The Witcher series and Skyrim instead OP.
>>
>>340145126
I have the original version of DE:HR on Steam but I've never really gotten very far into it past the beginning. It was either lack of interest or my PC was more of a toaster, but I can't remember.
>>
I've always found old management games comfy. Theme Hospital, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Railroad Tycoon. The Sims (1) was alright when you were just designing houses, but the rest of it was cold and dull.
>>
>>340143974
Chrono Cross
>>
>>340144839
It definitely requires a decent rig, but it's also one of those games where the difference between High and Ultra settings is virtually unnoticeable in most of the game.
>>
>>340143974
>What is the comfiest game you have ever played?

Unironically Minecraft, building a log cabin in the woods and just sitting there, watching snow fall on a nearby mountain range.

Nah Morrowind had its time when it was at the top of everything technologically. Let it rest in peace. Just get tons of visual/immersive mods for Skyrim, avoid fast travel every time and have fun OP.

It's almost as if you failed to read the following 16 words after the game. Or you did read them and still responded with that. Both outcomes are tragic.
>>
>>340145447
What do you think is the bare minimum specs a computer would need for it to be. I already have it on PS4 and I want to get it on PC but idk if my Pc will be able to make it significantly more comfy than on console

/v/ hates it, but Elder Scrolls Online is my pick.

I'm a huge sucker for games that have bards playing songs in inns. Everything about the atmosphere is so comfy, it's the only online game I've ever played where I actually kept the sound enabled.

Mount & Blade or Daggerfall. Actually pretty much all the Elder Scrolls are comfy, minus Arena.

>complelty ignore everything, roleplaying as a hunter in Falkreath, doing odd jobs on the side hunting bandits for 12 hours.
>barely scrap by enough gold daily to make a living
>mfw

i understand now what i means to be an NPC. really intresting play through.
>>
>>340147532

Yah. How long can you keep that going until it gets boring though? I tried switching it up with things like fishing and mining once in a while.
>>
>>340147280
>install hunting and survival mods
>head out into the wilderness with your orc wife
>earn cash to build a comfy home for your kids

Best experience I've had with Skyrim and I've had it since day one.

Runs fine on high and a plash of ultra with a gtx680 OC. Sit between 50-70 FPS

It's probably ultra and then some on a 970

You should play LOTR:O, Player orchestra competitions in-game, small chamber parties, jam with your mates, etc.

Making cardamine runs in freelancer with a decent freighter.

Fuck trade lanes, just set a few waypoints out of the way of your "friends" who want to check your cargo and drift amongst the stars, sometimes just a bit too close to the sun just to get Trent's aryan ass a tan.

Freelancer's radio chatter is just plain comfy too, but you don't hear as much out there or as a down and dirty smuggler.

The feel of magic in the area as you travel across Cyrodiil is unmatched. I've been looking for another game with that feeling for a decade. I still haven't found another.

Obligatory.

Nothing like taking a nap after last night's scavenging run while Bruno's cooking it up in the kitchen and Marin is strumming on the guitar.

Freelancer was an amazingly comfy game. Just flying around discovering the galaxy was fantastic. There were so many vistas and so much cool shit that you never came close to during the main story. The post-game and online are among my favorite times spent playing vidya.

>>340149891
Fucking Oblivion. People criticize it for being generic but everything about it was so comfy. I never quite got the feeling of being at home in any of the other Elder Scrolls games.

Great music too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7NqyQCSz-Y
