It's gonna be another FFXIII, it's been in development hell too long. The art, story, and the gameplay are going to feel like they're from different games that were glue gunned together. The combat in XV is perfectly fitting in what the game is trying to accomplish. In this sense the combat is anything but mediocre. It just shouldn't be judged based on biased criteria and opinions. I personally have more than 15 hours logged in to the Platinum Demo and I can safely attest to the fact that it has a surprising amount of depth. Definitely a huge improvement over the turn-based system of earlier titles.
