What game did you enjoy that is now dying/dead?
Pic related for me. It was the little MOBA that could up until the developers made all of the wrong decisions in what I can assume was an active attempt to destroy their game.
bloodline champions. such an amazing game. died because they signed on funcom as publisher and let them do jew shit like pay for power, and they never gave a single fuck about advertising
sequel is coming out soon though, and no funcom this time so that's good news

There's nothing wrong with the matchmaking. It's just that the player pop is so slow there's always going to be a wildly disproportionate gap between player levels in game and people playing in dead zones will inevitably plat worldwide and lag it up.

They've been pumping out a steady release of Nauts, skins, and artwork. But they also pumped out the XP system which caused a lot of people to leave the game since it was initially broken as hell. They haven't fixed matchmaking either. They had a free weekend a couple months back and the forums saw a huge amount of posts and topics complaining about 1 hour people getting stomped by higher league players.
TLDR: They're great at content, but their priorities are fucked.

They keep railroading characters into stupid builds with only slight nerfs here or there and don't listen to their playerbase at all. The team level system just made snowballing worse and certain builds are just insta-gib.
It's not fun if you're a newbie and the skill curve is so high at high levels that no one new wants to fight their way up there. Not a lot of room to experiment with character builds and people are high-levels are just dickwads.

That's true to an extent. Their free weekends typically get the player count up to 10-30k, yet retain hardly anyone since the new players are continually noobstomped. Or, if they buy the game they quit quickly because suddenly the player population is back down to 600 or so and they're up against people with 100s of hours.

His stickies honestly do shit damage and are outright worse than dynamite. If you have any kind of self heal you can usually survive it, or just run and get a creep.
With the nerf to chameleon shot Chucho has gone down from top tier to slightly below average. He's a flimsy naut who is agile only half of the time. He's agile only half the time. His 'burst' has a massive delay on it and isn't that strong. His aa is weak as fuck. The only thing he really has going for him is the turret and the effectiveness of that depends on the enemy team you're facing. Skrees will fuck it up endlessly without even trying.

Autoaim aoe with enormous range at the touch of a button. Upgraded it does more damage than light assassin naut bursts and freaking heals a third of his health at the same time. That's not even counting the relatively undodgeable hammer that has respectable damage and snare on top.
