Turret placement is a big part of playing Torbjorn but the other thing is that she can't really beat him 1v1 either. Assuming he has armor, he's too tanky and is fully capable of one-shotting her. Matches with good players tend to have less kills. Good teams know how to push their advantage when they're up 1 man, and good teams will have people being healed constantly. I have more trouble playing mercy. Namely because if the enemy team is competent you get focused like a mother fucker and never have a chance to pop the ult and turn the tides. and When playing with a team of randos they are less likely to watch your back or have someone you can fly to in a pinch. With Lucio I stay alive a lot more often thanks to the speed boost keeping me out of danger and not having to be buttbuddies with someone to heal.
I've been doing better lately. I've leanred Mercy's gun is fairly damaging and is better choice than trying to damage boost allies who cannot aim for shit.

Hello, Reinhardt player here. A Reinhardt is only as good as his team. If your team sucks, you're going to lose. Accept this. Try to switch between playing defensevily and offensively at the right times. When pushing the cart, defend the cart and your teammates. When your teammates are engaging, rush in there and start swinging your hammer. Always engage with your E and then charge the tank (so that your teammates dont have to deal with them). Rein was designed to kill all other tanks except Roadhog. Always try to kill the healer after you kill their tank (only if the support is Mercy, as she can rez the entire team). Never engage a fight with Mccree, Mei, or Reaper. The only way to kill Reaper is to block all his shots and wait for him to reload and then swing once or twice. Usually that will make most Reaper players back off. Don't try to outdamage him, you never will. Also, Defense with Rein is very hard. It's usually better to play Rein on an offense map where you're excorting the payload or KOTH.

He used to be really good back in beta where you could put the harmony orb on a Genji or Tracer and since it had to los or range limit they could go be shits in the backline with constant healing.
I think they should give him a little extra health or maybe change harmony orb to heal a little more slowly but its an aoe. So you can pop it on a tank and it can be a mobile aoe heal while Zen sticks in the back discording and throwing orbs.

I've learned to play him on any game mode and map. Of course, he's best on Attack, and Roadhog is a more effecting pick on Defense. On defense ill mainly defend the choke points to hell (like on Hanamura). He's also good for charging in and contesting the cart right before the enemy team reaches the checkpoint.

Zenyatta has no way to heal his standard health, but shield health (the blue 100 health he has) auto-regens after a short time out of combat.
So if you are at 150 (50 + 100) health and take 75 damage, you'll have 75 health (50 + 25) and the damage will heal after a short while. If you are at 150 and take 125 damage, that eats up all your shield health and takes 25 of your 50 standard health. The 100 shields will regen, but the 25 standard will not. The only way to bring back standard health is to be healed through other means (ie a team member, the objectives healing aura, healthkits etc.)

Tell me about it. I can't tell you how many Mercy randoms I've run into that didn't know you couldn't overheal people like TF2, that Mercy's secondary click was a damage boost, or that Mercy had a secondary pistol (which is actually insanely good for clutch situations)
It's why I tend to go Mercy a lot and sometimes Lucio/Zenyatta, I can't trust randoms to heal.

I think he's a lot more fun in terms of movement, but honestly, I don't think he's on par in terms of raw healing potential. His heals are mediocre compared to Mercy's, which is fair, since it's an AoE around him, and he can boost it, or switch to a speed boost instead. He's useful in certain situations, in the same way Zenyatta is.

Reinhardt, if he/the rest of his team isn't being retarded, counters every single thing you try to do. Zarya counters you even harder since she can shield allies post-hook and use you as a battery. That's because Roadhog shouldn't even be on the radar of characters that need to get nerfed.
Also the heal cooldown is 8 seconds and the reason he has it is because he has no form of damage mitigation (armor/shields or defensive skills) or mobility skills like every other tank.

I honestly do not care that his single target healing output is less than Mercy because I have actual fun playing the game when I choose Lucio. Mercy is to be quite honest fucking mind numbing at the best of times. Out of the three healers we have she is by far the best single target healer but shes also far and away the most boring thing in the entire game. If you want to actually hamper the amount of fun you can have while playing the game simply to min-max the amount of healing you do then by all means go right ahead.
