PS2, obviously. Outstanding exceptions aside, PS2 was when Sony finally nailed 3D, and could allow for more varied and more polished gameplay x-periences, unlike the PS1, where there was often simply not enough processing power. Large crowds and tons of detail aside, PS2 could do almost any type of game (provided you were okay with a bit of loading and a sacrifice in details)

Vice City.
Vice City's map is so much better than V's map it's ridiculous. I think making the open worlds bigger and bigger was a mistake. Rather than that, they should make five or six maps the size of Vice City and let the player catch flights between them. I think we would see both tighter level design and a greater variety of environments. I'm disappointed that isn't the direction the franchise went.

Legend of Kay. If you can tolerate an OKAY translation from German to English, you will get a good platformer with an above average sword combat with some twists.
You can buy it on Steam now, but nothing stopping you from getting the PS2 version, since it's the same thing.

although Vice City is my favorite GTA game its map is probably the worst of all the GTA games out there
there is a lot of wasted space all over the two islands i.e. the huge beach, the empty coast line south of the stadium, the empty corridors between the highrise buildings, the grassland behind sunshine autos and the entire northern tip of the second island. also the entire map is incredibly flat, no hills or steep inclines which is a drawback.
to say that Vice City's map is better than V's makes me think you have your nostalgia glasses on firmly because only an autistic child could come to such a conclusion.
