Well, looking into the developer a bit more I would say it's actually being developed so he can have people stroke his enormous fucking ego and lord it up and be abusive to a bunch of kids.

The point you seem to be missing is he hasn't quit. He seems to be pretending to have to anyone who takes a casual glance, people are still leaving him messages saying shit like "feel so bad those mean people got you to quit" and stuff like that.
Then you actually look into it and he literally has never stopped making updates. It all seems, to me at least, to have been a way to divert attention from the fact he banned some people for nothing and generally sperged out.
It seems to have worked. Basically the guy is fishing for sympathy whilst fucking over people.
