Why did international releases of these games suck so badly compared to the JP releases?
I mean, they're still great and all. They each have 70~ song each, but the japanese versions often range from having 120-180 songs, DDR Extreme JP having 240. DDR X2 for JP had 440 songs, while the USA version gets a measly 60.
Why does Konami hate America/Europe so much?

I think supernova was the last good ddr game. Every game after that has an abundance of mainstream music that doesn't belong in there.

That isn't even true, Supernova had god-tier konami originals and a great licensed selection. The konami originals in Extreme 2 were mostly mediocre with some outliers like Sexy Planet and Sync. Supernova, however, had Murmur Twins, Curus, Happy Angel, AA, Red Zone, Doll, and so on.
