The new Nvidia driver is not installing at all and has rendered my graphics hardware useless
None of my games can even launch
It is also causing framerate drops
I have tried reinstalling the updater and rebooting my computer several times
Anyone suggestions? Anyone having similar problems?

Since i'm feeling in a good mood do the following:
1) download DDU
2) Run DDU
3) Follow instructions
4) After DDU is all finished (after reboots) reinstall your driver
5) Kill yourself

I see a lot of users NOT setting up fan profiles etc etc, running games at max settings, or close to max while the card fans are running at the stock 35% fan speed.
I cant remember why (they/nvidia) don't, but for fucks sake they should just include precision/afterburner or whatever program is licensed right with the driver download package. They loaded up their drivers with a ton of bullshit bloat anyways.

If drivers brick your card, just buy a new GTX 1080™ guys.
I'm using the latest driver on my GTX980 no problems, I've had some "the stub received bad data" errors when opening shortcuts since some days ago but I believe it was a windows update since looking at event viewer I see a bunch of services failing now.
