you have to pop off the heat sink for the processor and connect it to the pins under the processor. Replace the processor, it should make a solid click sound... you may have to force it a little.

It doesn't fit (the power cable under where you'd plug the SATA for the HDD)

RREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
>>
Why are you not putting in your psu first? put in your psu.

Drives of any kind need a SATA cable to the mobo, and one of the power cables from your psu. Figure it out, get your gpu in there, plug in your power button and shit where it says on your mobo instructions. Don't forget your ram.

Watch a few assembly videos if you're having this much trouble, or if this is a troll, consider killing yourself instead.

What a bunch of fucks. They have an immensely valuable brand name and all they need to do to keep generating profit is come out with a new model every so often, maybe do something topical based on a popular movie or tv series. You aren't going to expand LEGO to anything else; your candy was terrible.
>>
>>339988042
Put the mobo in the case and secure it.
Then put in the cpu. CRRRRUNCH that shit in tight.
Then you attach all the wires the mobo needs to work
>8 pin CPU to PSU
>24 pin Mobo to PSU

>Any fans to fan slots
>Case led+/-,pwr,reset cables to the right slots bottom right

Now connect the cpu coolant
>Paste
>Brackets if needed
>Fan / Heatsink / Water cooling unit
>Connect any fans to spare fan slots

Plug in Ram
Plug in Hard drives
Connect HDD to mobo via sata ports
Connect HDD to PSU
Plug in GPU
Connect GPU to PSU with PCI-e 8 pins (tends to have 2 connectors on 1 wire)

It actually is as easy as lego.

The hard part is knowing what to do your first time, that's what instruction manuals are for. even then you only need the mobo manual to know which wires go where.

Looks like the old inside of my Dell from 2007. My first attempt at pc building was buying a full size video graphics card and trying get it to fit into one of those.

Let's just say, a few hours, pliers and chopped open back panel later, I gave up and built one completely from the ground up.

Protip: You need a large none prebuilt tower to hold a good gpu.
>>
>>339988042
true, there is more than one way to assemble lego.
But of course, it helps to have a basic competence at visualizing how two parts might fit together.

thats not what thats about at all. they want you to say lego instead of legos because if it gets used enough as a generic term instead of specifically meaning legos ( for example, people saying...putting a computer together is like legos ), it means the word enters the public domain and they cant sue people for using the word.

thats all thats being protected here. it would be like quake insisting you use the term fps, and not, first person shooters, so that when bioshock came around and put fps on their own cover, they could sue them.

thats what this means.

Logical Increments is pretty legit. I've built off of them and it's fine. There are always a little cheaper or better stuff for a few more bucks. But for a baseline they're a really good start.

Reddit also has a guide. But if you're gonna drop 1000 then just wait for the 1070 and the new AMD card. No sense to buy something now when something better is coming.

the tl:dr for this shit is that this is for gigantic, 2 million dolla cnc/metal work machines with old computer shit built into it. the solution is
A) buy a brand new 2 million dolla machine just so you can get a more modern one that supports cd`s
B) modify and void the warranty or whatever of your 2 million dolla machine
C) pay an intern a few bucks an hour to slot those floppies while you stare at a progress bar after paying 200 bucks shipping 500 bucks worth of floppy discs

if you ever get a chance, go take a look at some of the older larger metal foundry businesses if they do tours. youll find a lot of those places still use mechanically adjusted machines that seem fucking obsolete as fuck...but it still works, so...why spend a shit ton of money to switch it over? just to save you the effort of reformatting it once?

How is this any different from people saying Kleenex when they mean tissue? Or Band-aid when they mean bandage?
>>
>>340004351
well, those have lost their copyrights because of it. so really its actually the same...? wait, so the difference is, lego still owns "lego"
>Trademark genericization eventually resulted in the "Band-Aid" trademark losing its protective status over the Johnson & Johnson brand, becoming a generic term for all adhesive bandages. The company attempted to avoid this outcome with an advertising campaign, but failed.

it basically means literally anyone can call their product lego, if legos basically enters the dictionary as officially slang for "building blocks". just think about all the royalties johnson and johnson could be milking this for if they kept it. if lego loses its brand name, then ANY imitator can call his shit lego, and when you go to google or ebay lego, "real lego" isnt going to be the top result anymore.
