I never quite managed to finish the demo 'cause it was hard as fug, but I found it fun enough that I'm looking forward to the full game.

Jeeze, if that's all. I'm sure they'll do more testing, and are aware that a huge part that didn't speak out sidn't find it too hard. They might even put in dificulty settings.
More importantly, if the only interesting aspect of it was that it would be dificult, maybe the game was never that interesting to you in the first place?

When you said casuals ruining it i thought you meant something like what is happening to the elder scrolls and fallout series, completely changing the game etc.
