If you go to any Hot Topic or even Barnes and Nobles, you can find Miku, Sure, Rin and the other Crypton Vocaloids are still semi-popular. No joke, the tracklist in mirai deluxe is consistently the best out of all the games not counting FT
the only bad choices were like watashi no jikan which is basically just a milestone song so its understandable why they included it, and personally I'm not a fan of the followup for aku no musume, but I don't really understand why they included both Cendrillon and Adolescence, which is basically the same song/PV jist with different lyrics and Rin/Len instead of Miku/Kaito
Meanwhile they have some fucking great songs like kokoro, common world denomination, tricolore airline, and even if they have the weakest mitchie m song (age age again) it's still a good song

There are still a good deal of artists writing music for her. But a lot of the big names that really launched Miku back during that time have broken off into professional music careers from getting recognized. People look for songs and usually fall back on the "classics" written by those people no longer working with Miku.

The one thing that made me kinda sad about the 2016 concert (Went to Toronto) was that outside of Vocaloid models which were upgrades the rest of the visuals were massively downsized from the 2014 concert. What I'm hoping for is that they just couldn't realistically ship all of the visual equipment around that reliably and that quickly so they played it safe.
