Yo I just picked up Jiggly because I realized there's not a single decent Jiggly main at my locals and the tournaments are basically free for Marths and Peaches.

Jebailey runs a tournament full of numerous games that people want streamtime for and to have a chance at the main stage. It isn't like a smash only supermajor where you can get away with just showing the top 8 of small games like Brawl and 64 and only have 2 games to worry about. He has to make time since smash is longer than the other games. If leffen wants a ropes major then he's free to go to one but don't try to subtly tell off a great community figgurehead. I remember when PM was dropped from Apex he was one of the people mad about the drop and also appologized that he couldn't keep running it himself and said he wished to run it again if pressure was ever taken off. He genuinely cares for the community.

Dd and wd oos become shorter, his ledge options are mediocre, and so hell have commit with a wd oos foward, FAir, etc.
The jump rule doesnt apply to peach, neither, when she float cancels. Staying out of range of fc FAir is easy peasy for jiggs. And so she'll have to full jump and throw turnips from platforms to reach a jiggs that is flying. 1. The argument for floating R1 pools is that it allows more time for other player interactions, interviews, videos, etc, which otherwise can be pretty overwhelming especially on finals day. The r1 pools games aren't the point- due to seeding no "top" player is losing in r1 pools, pretty much ever.

Look up some basic movement inputs on YouTube (dashdancing, how to stop your dash, working on learning the timing for short hop vs full jump, jumping out of shield etc) and then just practice on training mode or vs a CPU. Basically, yeah. After a certain distance your character begins "run" or whatever which isn't considered dashing. While you're dashing you can change directions in 1 frame, shield to stop your momentum completely, or empty pivot.

Went to Battle at the Last Frontier 2 and met Lucky.
It was my first tournament and I got 13th, so I'm pretty happy. I was eliminated by the same dude in Losers and Winners, but I think what's really holding me back is my lack of combo game with Falco.

Practice movement and doing moves out of movement just like anyone else I guess (DDing, wavelanding, ledgedashing, wavedash to ledge and instantly jump/do move, etc.). Basically just run around the stage and shadowbox. only Mario specific practice I can think of is upB walljump and mashing downb
