Dimps is a third-party discount licensing studio that usually works on animu licensed games and their only 'notable' games have been SF4 and SF5..
I guess it costs less to have a third party studio do the game than for capcom to hire more internal employees.

I bought SF4, SFxTekken and SF5.
I liked 4 and played it a lot.
Thus i trusted capcom with SFxT.
Then i was like "oh well they fucked up once, i can overlook this, they probably wont fuck up with a main series title"
Then i bought 5 and was heavily disappointed how they handled it.
Now i wont buy future Capcom games or DLC because i learned my lesson.
I didnt really play other capcom games in that time. So i wouldn't exactly call that "loyalist behavior".

I won't pretend to know absolutely everything that's gone wrong with this game but something about virtually every Japanese media companies strategies, implementation, business practices and marketing has me thinking none of them have any idea what they are doing any or period. My national scene for UNIEL is bigger than that for any FG that isn't Xrd or SFV, so in my area it isn't dead, which is enough for me. You however are insecure enough about your own game that you can't help but pretend like it's a much bigger deal than it is, rather than competing in what it actually has and trying to grow the numbers.
This is why nobody likes KIfags, you don't even play your own fucking game yet you have a holier than thou art attitude as if it's something special. There are obvious fucking reasons for why KI isn't popular, the release platforms and such not being the only ones. The way the fighting itself works in it is completely seperate from the vast majority of fighting games, and thus isn't seen as a good substitute.
Fucking KoF has a bigger chance at being relevant which is saying something, since at least while that's technical as hell, it's more "SF-like" in the fighting mechanics.
