Not too far in yet, but it's a bit more competent than Demon Master Chris. You don't need to strip enemies to capture them anymore, so there's less RNG dependency. It still has that Pokemon TM like system with the spells though.

I've been playing it for a bit now, I've gotten to floor six. It's not that bad actually. It's no Wizardry, but it's at least competent at what it's doing, or at least more so than Demon Master Chris. The dungeons themselves are kinda bland so far, being just mazes with random encounters and events. They just introduced illusion walls on level 6, so maybe there's more dungeon gimmicks later on but so far it's very basic there.
The battle system is an updated version of the one from DMC. There's a morale system now, Guard and Recover commands are now just Guard, and you no longer need to get two criticals in a row without killing something to recruit it. It's been less grindy than DMC has been so far. I didn't need to spend the first 15 minutes of the game grinding mice to survive the first level.
There's not a lot of lewd going on though. They get naked all the time, but it's been a couple hours in before even the first H-scene.
Not worth $20, but maybe worth a look.
