it's a port from a handheld that took very little effort to produce and is a niche title from Japan.
I'd say having that many players is actually a decent amount. It's not impressive or anything, but it's certainly enough to make them a nice little extra bit of profit.

One developer came out and said the numbers were "within 10%" for one of their games, and completely off the mark for the rest. The game does not support 4:3 aspect ratio, which is Windows' default "safe" ratio. It shouldn't be hard to make the renderer draw a wider or narrower screen, but apparently it is.

DMC3:SE was a godawful port. DMC4, despite being an EXCELLENT port, was only released digitally years after it had a physical release on PC (which Capcom acknowledged for having an insane piracy rate, due to the decision to forgo a Steam release at first). It would have sold better if the only way to play the game without going to the store and picking up a boxed copy was to pirate it.
So DmC is the first DMC game on Steam to not be a shit port and was actually released on PC close enough to the console versions to not suffer as a result. The game sucks, but for many it was their first DMC title and Capcom had it displayed prominently during Steam sales back when Steam sales were actually big deals, and it got cheap fast.

Simply set a goal, and timeline, and punishment for not completing a task at the right time. Doesn't need to be large tasks either. Part of efficient scheduling is breaking things down to their most basic parts and doing them in the most efficient manner possible.
The more you break down tasks into smaller pre-requisites, the more likely you are to do them, "Because i have the time".

Well having a bigger screen than a mobile phone and a variety of setting to fuck with will generally enhance the user experience. If Bloodborne were released on PC tomorrow with 144hz support and 4k, so long as it's not riddled with bugs, it's the superior version. Period. Even if you can't, won't or don't run it at that level, having the option alone is all the difference. Considering Shiovi Versus is literally a framerate/resolution increase, this holds true.
