There's a demo on the E-Shop and it's probably the best series on the system. I'd recommend starting with IV.

Don't get Metal Gear Solid 3D if you can play a ANY other version of it. Using the gyroscope to balance yourself is fucking terrible.

If you are a Persona fan I recommend Persona Q, it's pretty alright for what is essentially a fanservice game. If you're not a Persona fan don't touch it desu.
