Crews is a group of people usually five share a set amount of stocks each in smash 4 it's 15. And play the other crew in 1v1s. The crews choose who they want to send in against the other person so there is a element of strategy involved. Basically the goal is to take the other crews 15 stocks each member gets three a match and any they lose carries over into the next match. (Example if you lose a stock in a game you win, you start the next battle with two against thier three)
