Look at the middle east. Look at the partitioning of the Ottoman Empire. Why do you think so many different groups of people are slaughtering each other over there? There are 35 million Kurds, yet they have no nation of their own. Borders and countries weren't given the opportunity to develop naturally along these cultural lines.
