You know what, forget about omnics for a minute.
Because everyone seems to forget about the other sitting elephant in the room when it comes to the dangers of non-human sentience.
By that, I'm talking about Winston and everything he represents.
He's a fucking genetically enhanced, super-intelligent gorilla who's so smart that his inventions and discoveries have put so many human scientists to shame. He helped find a "cure" for Tracer's time displacement when all other scientists were stumped.
But it's like everyone forgets about the shit happened in Winston's past. He he came from a subspecies of genetically-enhanced super gorillas who're living on the horizon colony on the moon. And those gorillas became so intelligent that they managed to slaughter all of the top-notch scientists working so that they overtook the colony for themselves. Along with all of the technology that's fucking up there.
There is a literal Plant of The Apes crisis scenario brewing on the moon and the lore just seems to brush it off completely. Nobody finds Winston suspicious. His past is never brought up. The after-events of the Horizon colony's invasion are never brought up in game or in other lore sources. The only other character that talks shit and calls him derogatory terms is Reapr. For all we know, they weren't just genetically manipulating gorillas on the moon, they could've done so with other animal species and it sure as hell wasn't for the means of space travel.

Because support =/= healing
Zenyatta can make or break a team with good use of discord orb+ teamwork. I've never had someone die to a reinhardt charge, who wasn't already against the wall, when playing Zen.
That mercy keeps ressing people? Put a discord on her. Sniper keeps fucking people up, discord her. Bastion, discord. Tank, discord. People talk about zen's damage and yeah it's true he is a monster dps. But what he brings to the team as a whole is amazing.
Symmetra is similar in a not nearly as obvious way. She's a whole cornucopia of little things that add up to a very good whole. Her sentries are both damage AND vision. Those tiny shields will actual drastically reduce the work of the healer over the long run, and they will save the life of squishies. She stops slow pushes in their tracks. I don't even need to talk about teleporters.

The most important thing of all is that Symmetra helps the team, torbjorn needs the help of the team. That's the difference. Torbjorn and bastion not only need setup, but proper support if they are to last more than 1 push. Mei is completely useless if your team can't separate the enemy from each other. Pretty much the only one this doesn't apply to is junkrat.
