They're kinda like Metroid and Assassin's Creed had a baby. Pretty casual but still really enjoyable. First game is best for muh atmosphere, second game is almost equally as good though.

Origins was great you mongolid, it simply didn't change much from city but was a great game by itself. It had the best soundtrack, boss fights and good story(arguably with some plotholes). People shit on it only because they expected a miracle after City, while they got a game of similiar quality.I've just started a shitstorm, haven't I?

The first Arkham game is the best story focused game I've played since the SCUMM games of old. Very well done in both flow and progression. Being limited just to Arkham Asylum actually helped the game. Plus, if you're a fan of the Batman animated series, it has the same head writer and producer as well as all the past voice actors. This game is the wet dream of any kid who grew up watching the animated series.
The second game (Arkham City) tried to be bigger, but ended up losing a lot of what made Arkham Asylum good. The benefits of set progression were lost as now there's a 5x5 mile area to explore. While I usually prefer exploration in my games, it didn't help this one much as 'exploration' just meant fighting endless mobs until you reached the next set story cutscene.
I haven't played the other games yet, but I'm really interested in Arkham Knight. Just for the promise that we can finally explore Gotham as a whole, which is what most people expected Arkham City to be, but it was all a lie.

It's the same deal as arkham city just on a bigger scale, with more ubi-style collectables to fill the void and a car to drive around in.
it's better than city mainly because it's bigger but pretty much all of the same problems are there, some made worse and a few new ones...
the batmobile is fine to drive around in, it's just the mandatory parts are kinda O_o

Great games. Asylum is literally "point A to B then game is over". City is much, much more open and has a variety of sidequests. Origins is the same, mostly as City. But the problem is that people hated that it was more or less City 2.0 (personally I enjoyed it) but most people would be burned out I think if they played Origins after City right away.
Origins more or less isn't part of the main story so you can ignore it.

Nope, I played it on a laptop that barely runs Witcher 3 and it ran smooth and with zero issues. So the performance butthurt is now just a meme or hurr durr mustard race bitching they can't run it on ultra with 60fps. Either that or I was simply lucky.

I didn't find the batmobile hard, but every time I had to play in it, I felt like it wasn't fun. That being said I would have loved if it was in another game, but I didn't use it once I did every batmobile related side mission and to add to one of the weaknesses, I would say the Challenge Mode was a huge step down from City
I spent a lot of time in Arkham City's Riddler's Revenge, but with Knight I just got the trophies I needed and when I had platinum I quit the game, with the exception of playing the DLC
