I wish backwards compatible games got improved features as well. Replaying Bioshock Infinite with the rumbling triggers of the Xbox One controller would make the game even more fantastic. It already almost made me switch mu Destiny platform.

The game isn't outdated. There's no release on current gen that compares to the quality of skateboarding this game brought to the table.
And it's sequel Skate 3, while adding new tricks, didn't have the polish #2 had. And the map sucks in 3, and it is also still not backwards compatible.

People want as much support on the platform they are playing on as they can.
