It's fanbase is split between like 40 games. Eventually when it dies, I can't see there being enough people playing on any of the games for it to be any amount of fun. There are probably better reasons to not like it and admittedly I simply don't like it because I think reaction-based military shooters are boring.

Both the campaign and the multiplayer modes bad. The campaign is just repetitive memorisation of where the enemies are, ducking and trying to shoot without getting killed in 2 seconds. Always the same but with more enemies and different environment and really slow paced. In multiplayer, there is no skill involved. It's just a matter of who sees who first. Another problem is the multiplayer mode is always marketed as fresh and new on the surface, but there is no substance, it's still the same gameplay and mechanics with more messed up lanes. The maps are too small which is why assault rifles and SMGs are the only viable weapons because rushing is the only viable play style. There's also lack of teamwork because people would rather try to get the best killstreaks rather than play the objectives. These games are just a bore that will never change because people with low standards wouldn't want it.

Blops 3 is actually a pretty great entry in the series. There is tons of multiplayer unlocks and the gameplay was finely tuned from AW. There's plenty of zombies maps, new nightmare mode, guns are great and there all good.. I enjoyed my time before canning it

MW2 was the last one I bought and the only reason was because my friends all had it. I stopped after that and to this day haven't missed anything.
