I love the style of Overwatch but those skins piss me off to no end. Sometimes they throw me off and I can't tell exactly who I'm about to fight because of their goddamn skin. Soldier and Reaper have this problem where their alternate skin make them look like the other, it's ridiculous.
Wish they'd have taken a page out of TF2's book. Even with the metric fuckton of cosmetics, I've never once had a problem telling who is who.

This is what I've used since the early betas, the black tights do great things for her thighs, the blue top shows her features better than the white, and it keeps her great boots.
Not a fan of how flat the devil outfit makes her nor the weird hooved boots while the viking outfit is a great idea it doesn't have a great lower body design.

Doing so would go against their "everything will be free" statement, so no. However, it's totally fine if they were to stick that content behind a layer of abstraction.
You can't buy the skin directly with real money, but you can totally buy Loot Boxes in bulk for real money to have the chance of finding the Skin, or to get enough Credits to then buy the Skin with fake money. A convenient loophole.
