I got my LG 29" 2560 x 1080 for $259. very decent input lag and it I was able to overclock it to 75hz fully stable. I've heard some people have gotten it to 85hz but I don't want to fuck it up either. 75hz is more than enough for me.

Your internal resolution will be stretched to fit your monitor, if you have a gigantic stadium sized TV, that died not necessarily mean it's going to support 200k or that if you hooked it up to your computer that you could even output that kind of display.

Televisions generally have a lower DPI and refresh rate. And what I was attempting to point out is that just because you have a large display, that does not necessarily mean it will have a high resolution.
