He tells you everything that's in the game, it's just that people expect there to be more then what he said. He's also charismatic as fuck, which I imagine is a reason they always use him for every game release.
Honestly though, I think he'd be a cool boss and a general fun guy to hang with it.

That's the appeal. You may not, but lots of people enjoy his goofy personality during presentations. He sounds human unlike a lot of other developer presentations where the host is either a borderline robot, or is painfully trying to get the audience to like him. Todd just does it naturally.

He's just like Peter Molyneux. He gets overexited and promises things they are still working on as actual features. Then they end up not working and get either dumbed down or cut alltogether because Bethesda aren't exactly good developers.

I think he is a great game developer. His recent game was bad because Bethesda hired too much new casuals that have no idea how to make video games. Luckily the Fallout and TES dev teams are different.

Bethseda does listen to fans to an extent, so I imagine they know that a lot of people thought Fallout 4 was pretty shitty. It's why they placed skill checks in Far Harbor. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes in their next game.

Skyrim was unplayable garbage though. I wouldn't put too much faith in the TES team. I had more fun with Fallout 4 than Skyrim.

Fallout 4 only has two big cities unlike Skyrim, so a dynamic economy wouldn't really change anything. We also don't know how far the feature was developed unlike the civil war.
