Whenever you have a battle class a higher level than another, you get a bonus.
From levels 1-50, you get a 100% EXP bonus on FATEs (this will be you big exp earner) and monster kills. From 51-60, it's 50% bonus.

It's not even that the writing is bad, it isn't, the cutscenes can all be different, have character and occasionally well-directed.
But the gameplay it's put on is brainless, lacks player agency or challenge, not to mention there's literally more single-player only instances than there are obligatory party instances as you level. The entire point of a multiplayer game feels defeated. It's not a story of you and your friends shaping the fate of a land. It's a story of literal whos that take you for a proverbial ride and try their hardest to keep you entertained by telling you how special you are despite hundreds of specials like you running around.

3 wards are being added to each district, which means if you want a particular lot in a particular district, you have a total of 6 chances to get it.

Can always wake up for 5 minutes at an earlier time to patch, then get back to sleep.
Practice the route you'll take, log out in the district you're aiming for, near the exit so you can travel to the plot quickly, and know which aetherytes you're traveling to (as well as the route you'll take to try for a subdistrict, if you don't get the first one.)
That's all you can do until SE gets off their ass and adds a 1 house per character limit or makes a better auction hall that isn't just first to log on.

I resubbed and am levelling to 60 and the trials and dungeons I've done so far seem piss easy compared to ARR. I remember wiping a couple times in some older dungeons but I haven't wiped once in these. The boss mechanics seem a lot simpler.

As another person who mains MNK, and has done so ever since I started the game, I can agree to this. The only thing that I find remotely difficult is keeping up GL between groups if we're not doing large pulls for some reason. Now that we have Form Shift, things are a lot easier than they once were.
All of the FC mates and other friends I run shit with know that I'm going to be running and Shoulder Tackling the next group if it means I can keep muh stacks. I try not to do it with randos, but I sometimes can't help myself, especially if the other DPS is a shitter.

Yes, most HW content is simpler and has fewer mechanics than the ARR counterparts. The leveling dungeons are maybe the only exceptions, but they're still not harder than level 50 content. Level 50 roulette is more challenging than level 60 dungeons even being overgeared. Void Ark is braindead compared to any of the CT raids. Normal Alex is babby mode compared to Normal Coils.
Hell, some of the fucking guildhests require more coordination than the endgame content these days.

I refused to step foot into Sephi Ex until there was a comprehensive guide on the order of his attacks, cast times, etc. The less a BLM moves, the better.
In the case of Amdapor, moving to mitigate the heal hardly seems worth it when each form is dying in under a minute. It's a cost analysis between time wasted traveling and time spent doing damage.
Basically, if I can't work an Aetheral Manipulation into my rotation or if the tank is too far away to use it, I'm not moving unless it's life threatening.

Going from 50 to 60 is pretty easy. You only have to worry about your level 53, level 55 and level 60 set.
If you can make your own HQ level 53 set you can also make your own HQ level 55 set. Getting a set of HQ level 60 can be a pain. Once you're 60 though, you either pay out the ass for melds or turn into a red scrip slave.

Memorizing the attack patterns is all it really comes down to, same as any other job. Aetheral Manipulation is your best friend in raid environments where every bit of DPS helps. For instance while everyone is running for fists, you can get a cast of F1, F3 (if you're in U3), B3 (if in A3), B1, or T1, unless your spell speed is abysmally low. Throw in Swiftcast, and you shouldn't run any danger of losing Enochian.

I don't have one, but Black Mage is really simple once you understand how your timers work. You're racing against two clocks: your Astral/Umbral timer, and Enochian. It comes down to how many casts of Fire IV can you get in one round of Astral Fire without having to refresh with Fire 1, as well as how many casts can you get before Enochian needs to be refreshed with Blizzard IV. For example here's my opening rotation as a Dunefolk Lalafell (Dunefolk naturally get enough PIE to get 6 FIVs naturally):

Try to save your free F3 for after B4, and your free T3 to replace T1, but honestly you can throw the T3 in anywhere after the opener as long as it won't cause you to drop Astral/Umbral or Enochian.

Rubber is a good one. Every boot needs it. On my server, HQs go for like 2-4k. It takes.. what, 100 gil to make it? So using an abberviated form of that script from above, you can probably get it in done in like 6 or 7 steps. Most likely something like:

This is something you do maybe twice a month per material and work on selling them over time. Although, with that said, rubbers tend to go fast on my server. I don't want to know why.

I got BTN and MIN to 60 through GC turn ins. Mix of HQ stuff I got lucky to make and things from the quests was enough for me to be able to get enough of the HQ items needed for the turn ins in about an hour for both. Used them and retainers to get stuff but I stopped making things myself once I hit like 55 on WVR and like 52 on everything else. The DRG set I made taking me almost two hours to make myself starting from scratch really turned me off from ever doing that for myself or others again. I suppose I'd do it if they paid me since that's the only way I'd he motivated. Back in 2.X I'd make full gear sets for people for free and would only take payment if they insisted on it.
